Mal Williams is a retired member of the Army Physical Training Corps, former international Judo player and certified Master Myoskeletal Therapist. Mal has coached the British Judo team at the highest level and now works as a coach with the British Field Archery Team and the Welsh Target Archery squad. He began Revive Sports Massage in 2012 in Llanelli and quickly built a large client base across all sports and treating common problems such as back, shoulder and neck pain. In 2018 Mal qualified as a Master Myoskeletal Therapist (MMT) having studied with leading educators around the world. In 2023 Revive Sports Massage relocated to Sudbrook, near Caldicot.
Mal's philosophy is not just to address the pain but to find the root cause of a problem. Thorough testing and working with the client to put together an appropriate rehab routine which will ensure a quick recovery and reduce the possibility of the problem returning.
Vic Williams qualified as a level 4 Sports Massage Therapist in 2012 and went straight into private practise seeing clients on a daily basis. Alongside this Vic also became a network practitioner for Sport Wales and over the ensuing years worked with numerous Wales elite athletes at our clinic, at the National Pool in Swansea and also at the Sport Wales Centre in Cardiff. In April 2021, following many years of study Vic became a certified Master Myoskeletal Therapist (MMT). She also continued to follow her passion for archery and took up a role at Archery GB, three years later she has now returned full time to our clinic to work with our own clients again.
Vic took up archery in 2005 and has represented Great Britain 20 times along with multiple Wales shirts. Until recently she held a World Record and retains several indoor, outdoor and field archery British records. Her background in sport gives her insight into the needs of athletes in our client base but Vic is also keen to ensure that the health and wellbeing aspects of massage are not over looked. Vic has developed a unique set of skills combining both comprehensive treatment of any physical issue along with the therapeutic application of massage for wellbeing.
